Hiiiiiiii! I just wanted to introduce myself for those that don’t already know me. I’m Kayla, a mama of two little guys, always striving for a balance between being a mom, living a healthy life, working, and maintaining my identity as a woman!
I started this blog over a year ago with the intention of sharing recipes and ideas for healthy FLAVOURFUL vegetarian food. But also as a passionate outlet for me while at home!
I am very avid about living a healthy life and while there are many facets that attribute to living a healthy lifestyle, food is the most important to me! Healthy food doesn’t have to be boring and flavourless!
I used to be obsessed with counting calories before becoming a vegetarian over 8 years ago, and now I can honestly say that I never think about calories anymore. I truly feel that for me, eating a diet rich in whole plant-based foods, has naturally helped me foster a healthy relationship with food and my body. I know everyone’s body’s are different, but even incorporating more veggie-friendly meals into your life once or twice a week can do wonders for your body and the environment ?☺️
