I didn’t realize it has been over 4 months since I’ve published a post! While I have remained active on a weekly basis through Instagram and Facebook, my poor actual website has been a little lonely.
My original reasoning was that time-wise, it is much easier to post content with my iPhone while I rock the baby to sleep, as opposed to sitting down on my annoyingly slow laptop to publish a website post (which is extra difficult with two young boys and an evening job)! Meanwhile, it has been seriously bothering me that I haven’t been posting any new content on my website so I officially decided this week that I was going to “do what it takes” to publish something.
So even though I was dreading sitting down with my old school super duper slow laptop that seems to drive me more crazy than bring my joy (which is supposed to be the whole point of this food blog in the first place – JOY). Then it dawned on me! It’s 2016, almost 2017, why can I not just do all this stuff from my iPhone while rocking the baby to sleep?! So literally within 5 minutes of this thought (yeah, I don’t know how I didn’t think about this before), I was able to download the WordPress app and the gmail app, programs I use for The Roasted Chickpea. Now here I am, writing a post from the good ol’ rocking chair! Is there any excuse now?! I don’t think so!
I am beyond excited that I will now be able to share more recipes this way! Follow along for easy-to-make, healthy & delicious vegetarian recipes!
